Meagan is a CrossFit Level 2 Coach and comes to the North Dallas CrossFit team with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She enjoys balancing her active lifestyle between CrossFit and another passion – Yoga.

Megan Munsell, Head Coach - CrossFit

Megan is a CrossFit Level 1 and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. She has been involved with CrossFit since 2014 and Olympic Weightlifting since 2015. Her training philosophy revolves around keeping athletes safe, healthy, and helping them reach their full potential as an athlete either for all-around fitness or competition. Fun Fact - she has traveled across the country to help coach athletes in Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit.

Chris Boyer, Head Coach - Olympic Weightlifting

Chris is a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, Totten Training Systems AOLC and Crossfit Mobility certified trainer who is obsessed with Olympic weightlifting. Chris was introduced to Crossfit, and weightlifting, by his wife Amanda in 2013 and was hooked from the start. He believes that good movement patterns and flexibility are fundamental components often overlooked in fitness, but that are absolutely required for long-term, injury-free success and growth. His goal is to gather and disseminate as much information as possible on weightlifting in an effort to make you into your best lifter possible.

Joy Turner

Joy is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach. If you watched the CrossFit Games in 2014 you might have seen her competing in the team division. Joy was on Team Ballistic from San Antonio. Prior to that she set multiple records in swimming at the University of the Incarnate Word.



Dave Woods

Dave is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach, as well as a lifelong athlete with a history spanning High School & College Football, 2 Ironman competitions, Marathons, and a two time “Muddy Buddy Beast” division race winner. He has also coached college football, college strength & conditioning, high school football, and various youth sports.

Mark O'Neill

Mark is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach who has been training with North Dallas CrossFit since 2013. With over twenty years experience in the US Army including deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, he continues to serve with the Texas Army National Guard. When he's not serving our country, Mark is a frequent flier as a pilot for a major airline and enjoys visiting other CrossFit boxes during his travels. Mark's approach to training and life is balance, where he strives to achieves those goals and help others to reach theirs.


Mike "Pedro" Horton

Mike is a CrossFit Endurance Coach fascinated with all things running and the belief that if you want to keep progressing, you need to keep changing the stimulus. Hence, he's continuously tinkering or experimenting with something. His Facebook alter ego is a snarky sock puppet named Pedro Cornsalis Tennessee-Lopez III.

Andrew Taylor

Andrew is a CrossFit Level 1 and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach that wants to help others find mental and physical strength. Andrew played quarterback in high school and has been CrossFitting since 2012. His role has changed at NDCF to "visiting coach" since he started working towards his engineering degree at the Colorado School of Mines.

Darrell Taylor

Darrell is a CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Endurance, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance and USA Weightlifting Club Coach with a passion for helping people achieve their goals. Darrell has been an avid marathoner, triathlete and part of the Crossfit Community since 2010. His personality is a unique blend of being both laid-back and a motivator that helps his clients stay in top form.
