Weightlifting is an Olympic sport where athletes perform two lifts – the snatch and the clean & jerk. Both move the barbell from the ground to overhead (in one or two motions) and both require a combination of strength, flexibility, coordination and explosive power. North Dallas Barbell (established 2016) is a USA Weightlifting (USAW) sanctioned club and East Coast Gold Weightlifting Team satellite center. We have coached athletes of all levels and ages, including youth, junior, senior, and masters (over 35) lifters.

All our lifting coaches are USAW Level Sport Performance Coach Certified and will be with you every step of the way. We will work with you – from the gym to the competition platform - to address your own strengths and weaknesses to make you a better all-around athlete.
